Session Outline:
FOMO in Tech – When Novelty Drives Decisions
The pressure to always chase the newest framework, model, or platform often creates more noise than value.
The belief that “more tokens” or bigger tools will automatically solve problems leads to rising costs, fragile systems, and exhausted teams. Incremental gains get harder, while complexity quietly grows.
Real progress comes from focus and restraint: choosing the right level of sophistication, questioning hype, and optimizing what already works instead of endlessly reinventing it.
The hardest skill isn’t adopting what’s new- it’s knowing when enough is enough.
