Session Outline:
Architecting and Delivering ERP in the Age of AI - Which Skills Still Matter?
As AI becomes embedded into enterprise platforms, the role of ERP professionals is evolving faster than ever. Tools such as Microsoft Copilot are transforming solution design, development, testing, documentation, and user support, enabling teams to deliver faster and more efficiently. But as AI takes on more routine work, an important question remains: which human skills will matter most?
This session explores how ERP implementation and architecture are changing in the age of AI, highlighting where AI accelerates delivery and where human expertise continues to make the difference. Through practical enterprise examples, attendees will see why technical knowledge alone is no longer enough.
The session will examine the enduring value of skills such as business analysis, solution architecture, critical thinking, stakeholder management, communication, governance, problem solving, and change leadership. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of how ERP roles are evolving and how professionals can adapt by combining AI capabilities with the uniquely human skills that drive successful enterprise transformation.
